Lead Lobbyist and Strategist

Founder  and President, Terry Humphrey has more than 40 years of experience as a lobbyist, public affairs specialist and association executive director in Kansas. She has worked with key decision makers at all levels of Kansas government on a wide array of issues. Terry’s clients benefit from her deep understanding of the process, her well-established relationships, her boundless energy, and her determination to help her clients succeed.  

For nearly three decades, Terry has worked with Kansas community leaders, government agencies and elected officials at all levels on behalf of both professional and trade associations as well as nonprofits and businesses.  

Lobbyist and Client Manager

Reily graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Public Policy Studies. She joined THPAG shortly after graduation, quickly becoming an integral part of the team. Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication inform her approach to all her interactions with clients, legislators, and other THPAG team members. Reily uses her extensive knowledge of social media and other internet platforms to assist with client research, reports, and communication strategies, as well as event planning and as an occasional host for virtual events.   

Strategic Communications, Public Policy, and Community Building Specialist

Leslie graduated from Baylor University with a B.A. in Television Communications. She has 20 years experience as a television news reporter and ten years in the world of nonprofit leadership.   Leslie has a passion for sharing compelling stories to the world.  Strong, clear and creative communication is her approach to all of her interactions with clients, legislators, and other THPAG team members. Telling stories is her passion.  She specializes in developing exceptional content that uses storytelling to drive brand awareness, thought leadership and lead generation.

Association and Program Manager

Kora is a seasoned macro-level social worker with a decade of experience in various human service roles, including behavioral health, substance abuse rehabilitation, disability services, youth educational instruction, and homeless services. She holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees in social work and obtained her license in April 2023. Kora is also a registered Notary Public in Missouri and Kansas. Currently, Kora is pursuing a Master of Public Administration (MPA) at the University of Kansas, with an expected graduation in spring 2025. Her MPA program includes a graduate certificate in both Public Policy and Public Health Practice. After completing her MPA, she plans to apply to a Doctorate of Social Work (DSW) program. Kora's career goals include working in public policy and holding political office.
